Another meal thrown together with whatever we have around the house, I swear these are the best sometimes! Honestly, this was such a surprise and Brandon has even claimed it as his new {favorite}! You have got to try this!!
Now, I did look around to see if there were other versions of this. I feel with cooking most times even if you put something together yourself there is always someone who has already done something quite similar. A couple different methods I found used ketchup, cornstarch, veggies and different amounts of ingredients. I think mine is the best but I may be a little biased. Also, I try to make everything in small batches as we are a small family but you try it – play around with it and let me know.
{INGREDIENTS}
- 2 Large Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Small Onion {chopped}
- 1 Garlic Clove {minced}
- A Good Squeeze on Honey {maybe 3 TBSP}
- 1 TSP Crushed Red Pepper
- 2 TBSP Hot Sauce
- 2 TBSP Water
- Salt and Pepper
You can cook this a couple ways…
Place all ingredients in baking dish, cover and cook at 375 degree until chicken shreds nicely. {I may add more water if doing it this way}
– OR –
{the way I did it} Place everything in Crock Pot and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.
Shred Chicken and serve over rice!
I like to rate the deliciousness of what I make by the amount of food left on my husband’s plate. I think I will let this one speak for itself.
